SNDTRAK | AND THEN THERE WAS LIGHT

I was approached by Oakland-based producer Sndtrak to design the album artwork and packaging design for his Street Corner Music debut LP release, "And Then There Was Light". The concept for the artwork was inspired by Sndtrak's unique ability to take familiar samples and deconstruct them, reimagining old records into a fresh and innovative sound; bringing them into a new light.

To create the artwork, I used a combination of traditional and digital techniques, including collage, to bring the concept to life. The resulting design captures the mood and message of the album, and effectively conveys Sndtrak's vision for the project.

In addition to the standard release vinyl, the album was also released in a limited run of magenta vinyl and cassette tape. I was responsible for designing the packaging and labels for all of these formats, ensuring that the files were setup properly for print.
