Simon & Schuster Australia reached out to me to create a collage for the cover of Kate Mildenhall's most recent release, "The Mother Fault", which tells the story of a protagonist who is forced to leave behind her old life and become the woman she needs to be in order to save her family and herself. To represent the setting and theme of the story, I created a collage that symbolizes the tangled fabric of her life and situation. After completing the collage, I sent it off to book cover designer Sandy Cull, who then finished the cover with layout and typography.
